So, what's our story?

From the start we wanted the Tees Valley International Film Festival be different from any other in the world. We aimed to build a film festival for the people, designed around fun and entertainment but with a major emphasis on learning. The long term goal being to kickstart a new generation of creatives, across all aspects of the craft of filmmaking, to help put the Tees Valley on the map as a national leader in creative media.

We have a "Films Made on a Smart Phone" category for those that have the desire to make a film but not the means

We have a glittering awards ceremony, where on-stage celebrities from the world of film and TV share stories and present winners with their awards

We have a monologue contest so we can also showcase and reward acting talent
